  • KEA actively participates in agency (city, county, state, federal) public commenting and public hearing processes relating to regional land use and development standing up for the protection of water, forests and wildlife. 

  • KEA works to create accountable and responsive institutions, sound public policies, and appropriate models of development that protect regional natural resources.

  • KEA works to support environmental education projects, programs, events and initiatives that enhance the public’s awareness, knowledge, and ability to help people make informed decisions that affect environmental quality.
