KEA's NEW Membership Program

We are glad to announce our Membership Program and show you all the ways you can support and benefit from belonging to KEA as a Member.

KEA changed from a membership 501c3 to a corporate 501c3 in 2020.  That caused much confusion and consternation amongst our loyal and generous donors, and lead some to believe we no longer had a system of support, like Membership, at KEA.  Not true.  Here's the lowdown and the how-to:

Kicking off our 50th year sees KEA heading in a new, more focused direction

We are honored to be the Lake Coeur d’Alene Waterkeeper

As the Waterkeeper we promote Activism, Advocacy and Education focused on keeping our lake drinkable, swimmable and fishable while protecting our aquifer and watershed.

Our goal is to educate people to empower them to make a difference. With so many environmental concerns about our watershed, it can be overwhelming to know just how you can help.

What we know is that we need to take action now to save our lake. If all of us choose to change 2 behaviors, that will make a huge impact.

What might these behaviors be? Join us for the next Talk-Oh Tuesday on August 16 as we unveil the 50 ways to help reduce phosphate and nutrient loading in our lake.

How can you help?

  • Become a member: membership benefits include a quarterly newsletter, e news, priority ticketing for upcoming events, special invitations to special events and donor group events and acknowledgement in the Annual Report and website donor page.
  • Donate: Your donations are critical to KEA’s activities and efforts.
  • Volunteer: Office help, water sampling, board or committee membership and shoreline cleanup are a few of the diverse opportunities available.
  • Business Partners: If you own a business, receive all of the member benefits, PLUS ongoing publicity, presentations to your staff and more.
