Idaho State Agriculture Department will be applying diquat dibromide, better know as Reward,  to areas of Hayden Lake July 31st – August 4th to treat for Eurasion Milfoil.  They are currently surveying and will update maps and points.  They will be focusing on the northern end of the lake near the sportsman access, Hayden Haven, Gem Shores and Chicken Point.   There will be restrictions in the areas of application for drinking water and irrigation and possibly boating and swimming as well.  They will keep the restrictions in place until testing is done to detect residues 3 days after application in which case if non are found the restrictions will be lifted.  Please contact Adam Schroeder at the Idaho State Department of Agriculture at 208-332-8667 or Terry McNab with aqua technics at 360-527-1271 with any questions.
